Individual Therapy

​ In one-to-one sessions, you will work on concerns or issues that you feel are getting in your way. If your concerns have severely interfered with your life, they are often disorders that can worsen if not dealt with.

These issues or disorders can include, but are not limited to:

Couples Therapy

In couples therapy, you and partner work on interpersonal dynamics, communication, conflict resolution and behavior patterns that are contributing to the discord in the relationship.  We use techniques using the Gottman Method. 

Life Coaching

​ Life Coaching (also known as Personal Coaching) can be a good alternative to helping you overcome an obstacle. Mental health is not the focus of coaching and a mental health diagnosis is not made. We actively work on examining your life and removing obstacles that you are preventing you from reaching your goals.

You could benefit from Life Coaching if... You would like to live a richer life and find your purpose; You want to get focused and receive clarity; You want to learn to put yourself first; You are thinking of making a change in your life (ex. career, relationships, family, a move); You are not in need of mental health services; You are ready for change! Coaching sessions take place over the phone, via video or face-to-face. Included email support helps the process along. Coaching sessions lasts as long as it takes for you to reach your goals.

Executive Coaching

If you want to concentrate on working on issues related to work or career development, I can provide executive coaching. I have worked in small to large work systems and I am familiar with the range of dynamics that come with both systems. I have worked as a program manager, supervisor, consultant and direct service/front line employee. Therefore, I understand the need to be good at what you do, but to keep striving for more. I received extensive training as an executive coach over ten years ago at Teleos Institute in the Philadelphia area.

​EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) 

​ EMDR is a "structured therapy that encourages the patient to briefly focus on the trauma memory while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements), which is associated with a reduction in the vividness and emotion associated with the trauma memories."
